Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, a Boston-based real estate development firm, has hired Howard Davis as its new director of development and William Reny as the new director of design and construction.

Davis will utilize his background in transit-oriented, mixed-use developments to contribute to the planning and development of all CC&F projects, especially Westwood Station, a 4.5 million-square-foot mixed-use project in Westwood that CC&F is developing in joint venture with New England Development and Commonfund Realty.

Davis brings more than 25 years of experience in real estate development, project management, brokerage and law. Before joining CC&F, Davis was the president of New England Realty Advisors, where he provided real estate consulting, project management and dispute resolution services to clients such as the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority. Prior to his Howard Davis role at New England Realty Advisors, he was senior vice president and national director at Spaulding & Slye/Jones Lang Lasalle Group in Boston where he spearheaded the NorthPoint project, a 45-acre, 5 millionsquare-foot, mixed-use, transit-oriented development in Cambridge.

Reny, as director of design and construction, will utilize his experience in high-profile mixed-use developments to oversee the design and construction activities related to Westwood Station. Reny has more than 25 years of experience in the real estate and construction field. He has vast experience in all facets of real estate development and leadership, from project feasibility analysis and master planning to marketing and overall project management. Prior to joining CC&F, Reny was vice president of Fenway Ventures. In that role, he was responsible for assisting in the development of properties in the Fenway area of Boston, such as Trilogy, a 1 million-square-foot, mixed-use project.
